A successful candidate for this job will have extensive experience in datacenter LAN and WAN architecture design, diagramming, implementation, operations and support, including expertise in layered network architecture, system design, intra- and inter-domain routing protocols, ancillary network services operations, and security design. 

Understands tiered datacenter LAN core reference architecture and upstream ISP and backbone architecture
Five years experience in large-scale Internet services network operations required.

Qualifications 
A degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or equivalent and at least 7 years of power conversion design experience. An advanced degree with thesis work in a directly relevant field is an asset and may substitute for some industry experience.
Requires simulation experience using MATLAB and Simulink and extensive design experience using high performance DSP control techniques for three-phase converters and Inverters. Ability to code (or at a minimum review) control algorithms in the C programming language is also required
Design experience with large uninterruptible power supplies or frequency converters using IGBTs is required. Experience with grid-tie inverters and load sharing are an asset
